News Nurture Group grows partnership with Landsec Date: 19th December 2023 Share: Nurture Group has secured a landmark long-term contract to provide grounds maintenance services for Landsec’s retail destinations. Under the terms of the contract, Nurture Group will be responsible for delivering grounds maintenance, and exterior and interior plant displays across Landsec’s retail destinations. This comprises 11 locations, including Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent, White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds, and Braintree Village in Essex. Gareth Kirkwood OBE, Nurture Group’s Chief Executive Officer, commented: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Landsec and to build a direct relationship. This new agreement is a significant milestone, showing the strength of the partnership between both Landsec and Nurture, enabling us to work together to make long-term strategic plans and increase our shared focus on sustainability. We look forward to collaborating with the site teams across eight additional sites.” Recognising their role as custodians of Landsec’s landscape environments, Nurture will employ a low-carbon sustainable service delivery model, maximising the use of electric equipment, machinery and vehicles to minimise emissions. With a team of experienced and knowledgeable experts, Nurture will also provide plans and recommendations to introduce more sustainable and biodiverse planting choices throughout the portfolio over the entirety of the contract. Nurture’s commitment to enhancing Landsec’s sites aims to create high-quality memorable experiences for guests through attractive, eye-catching, and vibrant biodiverse landscapes. Additionally, their specialists will collaborate with the site teams across the portfolio to enhance indoor planting schemes, creating coherent and consistent design themes tailored to each location. With a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences across various iconic locations, including business parks, retail and shopping centres, and public spaces, Nurture will also support Landsec in connecting with local communities through a suite of on-site engagement activities. This will include a calendar of events such as pop-up workshops, demonstrations, and nature talks for guests, the local community, and schools.
