News Nurture Landscapes wins double gold at the Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice Date: 25th November 2025 Share: Two Nurture Landscapes maintained sites are celebrating international success after winning Gold Environment Awards in this year’s Green Apple Awards, the global initiative recognising outstanding environmental best practice. Organised by The Green Organisation, an independent and non-profit environmental group, the awards are supported by bodies including the Environment Agency, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and REHIS. This year, Nurture’s teams at Aztec West Business Park and Stockley Business Park secured Gold in the Carbon Reduction category within the Property and Estate Management section, competing against more than 1,000 nominations from around the world. Colleagues Ahtraeo Punter, Kyle Leslie and Bogan Balut were invited to the House of Lords, Westminster Palace, where they received the awards at a ceremony hosted by environmental broadcaster Phil Williams. Judges praise nature positive transformation The judging panel highlighted the significant environmental gains delivered at Aztec West Business Park, where traditional 1980s ornamental planting has been replaced with schemes that deliver high ecological value. Enhancements include: Wildflower areas supporting pollinators More than 2,000 spring bulbs and 300 bee friendly plants Bird and hedgehog boxes, insect hotels and log piles A dedicated nature trail Tenant engagement through QR codes, social content and on site events Judges noted that tenant feedback credited the enhanced landscape with improving daily experience and even influencing tenant choice at the park. A Milestone for Nurture’s Sustainability Leadership This recognition strengthens Nurture Group’s position as an industry leader in sustainable, nature positive estate management. The awards celebrate the team’s commitment to carbon reduction, biodiversity enhancement and high quality outdoor environments that deliver both ecological and social value. Following this success, Nurture has been invited to accept Green World Ambassador status. This includes the opportunity to feature the award winning project in The Green Book, a leading international reference publication showcasing exemplary environmental practice. Nurture has also been invited to represent the UK at the Green World Environment Awards, the premier international platform promoting global environmental leadership. Speaking about the achievement, the team expressed pride in the work delivered across both sites and gratitude for the recognition from The Green Organisation. These awards highlight not only Nurture’s environmental performance, but the wider impact of collaborative, community centred landscape management.
