News International CSR Excellence Awards 2022 Date: 1st June 2022 Share: The international CSR Excellence Awards took place at The Waldorf, London on 30th May where we were delighted to collect two Gold’s on behalf of Nurture Landscapes for community commitment and community engagement. Dan Woods and Alan Guilfoyle, from our Rishton office had the honour of collecting not one, but two gold awards at this years International CSR Excellence Awards held at The Waldorf, London. The International CSR Excellence Awards are owned and operated by The Green Organisation, and are there to recognise and reward responsible, caring companies that care about their employees, their suppliers and partners and the community they live and work in, using their position to help those who depend on them for their livelihoods, as well as others less fortunate. The DeafHub Blackburn, encountered last-minute unexpected complications to hold a children’s Father Christmas event so reached out to Nurture – who were more than happy to help. In less than a week, Nurture supplied Christmas trees, lights, a sled and wreaths to ensure the event could go ahead and be a success and enjoyed by 80 children from the Central Lancashire Deaf Children’s Society . The decorations were then kept in place during the whole Christmas period so that the Hub could continue maintaining a festive air for other visitors. Collecting the Award, contracts manager, Dan Woods, commented: “Receiving an International CSR Excellence Award is a great recognition of how our teams go that extra mile for the communities in which they operate. We have long been a supporter of The DeafHub, so, naturally, we were only too willing to help when they encountered issues outside of their control. Community forms part of our strong people culture here at Nurture, and we are committed to maintaining the principles of best environmental practice as a supporter of The Green Organisation.” For more information and to see the full list of winners click here:International CSR Excellence Awards Pictured below right to left : Nurture Contracts Managers, Alan Guilfoyle and Dan Woods Share: Related content View all insights Nurture Landscapes’ Ahtraeo Punter named in Pro Landscaper’s 30 Under 30: The Next Generation 2025 We are delighted to share that Ahtraeo Punter, Assistant Contracts Manager at Nurture Landscapes, has been recognised in Pro Landscaper’s prestigious 30 Under 30: The Next Generation awards.
