Nurture Landscapes was honoured with two major awards, winning the Grounds Maintenance Company award and the Maintenance Contract Award for its work at Chineham Park, cementing its position as a leader in environmentally responsible grounds maintenance. The Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards 2024 followed the highly anticipated FutureScape exhibition, bringing together industry leaders in sustainability and biodiversity. Sustainable Grounds Maintenance Company Award The company was named the most sustainable Grounds Maintenance Company for 2024, a category that celebrates businesses dedicated to eco-conscious practices. The judges praised Nurture Landscapes for putting sustainability at the core of its operations, from building strong supplier relationships to leading transformational change across the sector. By sharing knowledge and innovative practices, the company is not only reducing its carbon footprint but also inspiring others to do the same. Commended for biodiversity gains at Chineham Park Nurture’s commitment to sustainable practices was further recognised with the 2024 Maintenance Contract Award for its work at Chineham Park. The contract, part of the Frasers Property portfolio, has demonstrated a long-term commitment to enhancing biodiversity and reducing environmental impact. The judges commended the partnership between Nurture and Chineham Park, which has seen significant biodiversity gains, including the creation of wildflower meadows and the installation of battery-powered equipment to minimise emissions. Additionally, Dave Taylor, Nurture’s Environment and Innovation Manager, was shortlisted for the Sustainability & Biodiversity Leader Award, recognising his exceptional leadership in driving sustainability initiatives across the company.
