At Nurture, our purpose is simple: to create a healthier, safer and more beautiful world. We deliver green services on a national scale, with over 4,100 employees maintaining more than 20,000 sites across the UK. While the scale of our operations is vast, our approach is rooted in responsibility. Sustainability isn’t a department or a checklist, it’s built into the way we work.

Our Green Solutions service has been central to our submission. Designed to help clients achieve their own environmental goals, this offer is built around three pillars:

Biodiversity Solutions

From habitat creation and bee management to native planting schemes and bespoke biodiversity action plans. Our team delivers targeted initiatives that enhance ecosystems and support wildlife. This work is making a measurable difference to biodiversity across urban, rural and commercial sites.

Sustainability Solutions

We help reduce environmental impact through innovative solutions such as electric equipment and robotic mowers, composting, green waste management, and chemical-free pest control. These practices reduce emissions, energy use and landfill waste, all while maintaining high standards of service.

Engagement & Events

We bring sustainability to life through educational and community-based events. From nature walks and seed-to-plate workshops to festive wreath-making and school sessions. Our events connect people to green spaces and increase understanding of the natural world.

Recognition that reflects impact whilst growing responsibly

As one of the fastest-growing companies in our sector, we’re committed to scaling sustainably. We have maintained a clear focus on reducing our carbon intensity and achieving our near-term, long-term and overall net-zero targets, in line with the Science Based Targets initiative.

From the introduction of 1,300+ electric tools to a 96% electric and hybrid car fleet. As well as renewable electricity contracts to community workshops reaching over 10,000 people. Our strategy combines environmental responsibility with meaningful social value.

We’re proud to already hold over 180 environmental awards. This includes the Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Award 2024, multiple Green Apple Awards, and Wildlife Trusts Biodiversity Benchmark accreditation. Being shortlisted for the Green Awards UK 2025 builds on this success and recognises the impact we continue to deliver across the country.
