Esme Arkinstall is winner of this year’s Nurture Business Plan Prize for the Best Sustainable Enterprise Project. Her project highlighted a multitude of issues within the fast fashion industry, and theorised a start-up clothing brand creating sustainable pyjamas that would best overcome these. “I love the outdoors (think running, climbing, hiking, everything), and sustainability has always been a passionate subject for me. Since graduating I have started my working life in technology at Intel Corporation. Throughout my future career I hope to continue to contribute to the environment wherever I can. A big thank you to Peter and the Nurture team for recognising my work – I would love to one day turn my business ideas into a reality, and this feels like the first step towards that.” Esme Arkinstall Iris Teunissen winner of this years Best Enterprise Project category says “Peter, I am incredibly grateful to have received the Nurture Landscape award, something I never expected to achieve. As an international student in a foreign country, I always felt it was just a bit more challenging to “fit in”, do the work in the right way, and be the best I can. Because of your award, you have made me stand out, and have given me the feeling I can be very proud of myself. Winning the Nurture Prize for Best Business Plan was the cherry on top of my academic journey in the UK, and something I will never forget and will always be grateful for. So, thank you for making me feel like a true winner.” Share: Related content View all insights Nurture Landscapes’ Ahtraeo Punter named in Pro Landscaper’s 30 Under 30: The Next Generation 2025 We are delighted to share that Ahtraeo Punter, Assistant Contracts Manager at Nurture Landscapes, has been recognised in Pro Landscaper’s prestigious 30 Under 30: The Next Generation awards.
