News Nurture Biodiversity Award – Congratulations to Howbery Business Park Author: Simon Bennett Date: 13th October 2020 Share: Congratulations to Howbery Business Park on completing their first year of the Nurture Biodiversity Award. Howbery, the UK’s first solar powered business park, were presented with their first benchmark petal of the Nurture Biodiversity award for recognition of their work in supporting bumblebees over the last year. The first petal is inscribed with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust logo and endorsed by the trust. The Award is made up of six petals, each representing a particular conservation trust. The individual trust, sets conservation criteria that needs to be met by each site in order to be endorsed by it. As the client site implements all the initiatives set, they will gain a petal that is inscribed with the logo of that particular trust. The Award was presented to Howbery by the Nurture Landscapes Group, Managing Director, Peter Fane. “It was a pleasure presenting our first ever Nurture Biodiversity award to Howbery. Howbery have always been so supportive of environmental and conservation initiatives, so were the perfect client to engage with on our first Biodiersity Award. We are very passionate about the environment and take our responsibility to it very seriously, so wanted to create something that would help us support our clients to become more aware and implement environmental and biodiversity initiatives onto their sites”.
