Christmas Charity

The Nurture Group donate £1000 to seven regional charities across the UK Instead of sending Christmas cards and gifts, The Nurture Group will again donate £1000 to seven regional charities across the UK. Each of the seven charities were selected by one of the Nurture Groups regional, local management teams. In the past we have always sent printed Christmas cards to all our clients, but with the impact that Covid has caused and in line with our carbon neutral credentials, we felt it more appropriate to make a donation to a worthy cause instead.

Instead of sending Christmas cards and gifts, The Nurture Group will again donate £1000 to seven regional charities across the UK.

Each of the seven charities were selected by one of the Nurture Groups regional, local management teams.  In the past we have always sent printed Christmas cards to all our clients, but with the impact that Covid has caused and in line with our carbon neutral credentials, we felt it more appropriate to make a donation to a worthy cause instead.

This year, the charities chosen are: The Prince’s Trust, Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, Dementia UK, Scotty’s Little Soldiers, Derian House – Lancashire children’s hospice, Beautiful Inside & Out – supports parents and siblings of those lost to suicide and CASY, which offers counselling and emotional support for young people in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

“Charities such as the seven we have chosen this year have felt the effects of Covid-19 like most charitable organisations, who have been under incredible strain with the increase in demand of their services, so it felt right to be giving something back to them at this important time of the year. Each does incredible work regionally and nationally, providing support to groups of people for whom Christmas can be a particularly challenging time, and I’m proud that our local teams are supporting them in return.

 “We are constantly aware of our environmental responsibilities and as a carbon neutral business, show a concerted effort to fulfil these as well as recognising the brilliant work of all the charities. It’s also our belief that business goes beyond the bottom line – it is about making a difference in our society and to our built environment.”
