Fast Track 100 - Britain’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies Revealed in Special 2020 Covid-19 Edition

Nurture is delighted to feature in the 24th annual Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league table, published on 6th December 2020.The table ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years and is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each year.

Planet Mark award year 3

Director Chris Turner is delighted to confirm that Rokill has received its third year Planet Mark certification, achieving an absolute carbon reduction of 10.5% over the previous year. The period measured was from April 2019 to March 2020. Our team has worked hard this year to reduce our Carbon footprint through more efficient driving, supported by advanced vehicle telematics to produce driver behaviour league tables. We are committed to delivering further reductions in our carbon footprint through initiatives. Our company fleet is our major target for improvement and we have recently placed orders for hybrid vehicles meaning over 60% of our cars will be hybrids in 2021.As part of the latest Planet Mark review our Social Value contribution was assessed and our impact on society was calculated to be £539,643, we are really proud of this figure, and reflects positively on the values of our company and our team.

The Pro Landscaper 30 Under 30: The Next Generation Awards

A huge Congratulations to our very own Dawid Koscianski on receiving his Pro Landscaper 30 Under 30:The Next Generation Award.Dawid joined the Nurture family through our acquisition of Rockside Estates earlier this year.Starting his career on the tools as an operative in 2012, Dawid soon worked his way up to a team leader position. Dawid continued his journey, going on to become a reactive supervisor before being promoted in 2018 to his current position as Contracts Manager for our South West region. Through his consistent hard work and commitment, Dawid has worked his way through the ranks and is now a well-deserved winner of 30 Under 30: The Next Generation Award.We are proud to have Dawid as a member of our team and look forward to supporting him in his horticultural career.

Herring Gulls (Larus argentatus) are large birds that are semi social and return to nest in the same location every year. They lay 3 eggs mainly from April to June.
