Nurture Landscapes Holdings Limited, referred to as The Nurture Group, commits to paying the Real Living Wage to all staff over the age of eighteen (excluding apprentices).The move to become a Real Living Wage employer epitomises our commitment to supporting our nationwide teams and enabling them to progress in their careers, including younger employees at the beginning of their career path.
Indoor Garden Design join the Nurture family
Indoor Garden Design has since grown to become one of the leading suppliers of premium quality, design-led planting schemes across London, bringing nature back into the workplace. They count the likes of Sky and WeWork amongst their impressive corporate client base, along with leading names in hospitality to complement Nurture’s own portfolio in the installation of plant displays at hotels, retail spaces and event venues as well as other settings in and around London.
Supporting the development of new industry talent
The Nurture Landscapes Group supports the development of new industry talent by becoming a BALI Chalk Fund Gold champion!The Fund established in 1975 with a legacy from the widow of Geoffrey Chalk, a founder member of the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) and a previous owner of Gavin Jones Ltd who the Nurture Group acquired in 2018.
Nurture receives RoSPA Gold Medal (6 consecutive Golds) Award
Nurture Landscapes receives a RoSPA Gold Medal Health & Safety Award. This is Nurture's sixth consecutive Golds Award, ensuring its staff get home safely to their families at the end of every working day. Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.
Carbon Neutral 2030 - Here we come..
As part of our ongoing commitment to the environment and meet our carbon neutral by 2030 target, the Nurture Group have invested over £350K this year in new handheld electric equipment, replacing existing fossil fuel machinery. Currently 16% of the static sites we manage use fully electric handheld machinery, and this will increase to 63% by spring this year, with a target to have 90% of static sites using fully electric handheld equipment by spring 2022.
A warm welcome to Dodsworth Ltd, the latest addition to the Nurture family.
Dodsworth Ltd was founded in October 1990 by Julie Dodsworth and her husband Simon. Based in Yorkshire, Julie, a coalminer’s daughter, joined the industry at just 16 as an apprentice florist. With a natural flair for creativity, her skills, along with her passion, developed over time through constant practice and observing and learning from her seniors.
