How do dogs locate infestations quickly?

Their olfactory abilities are heightened by factors of 10,000 to 100,000. After three months of specialist training, they can detect the specific scent emitted by bed bugs, making them a powerful tool for accurate detection.

Unlike human technicians who may spend hours inspecting rooms, our canine partners can locate live infestations within minutes, including in hard-to-reach spots such as under carpets and floorboards.

Proactive bedbug inspections for early detection

Our bed bug dogs inspect common harbourage points, covering more ground in less time than traditional inspections. In large infestations, they can even identify affected rooms from the corridor. By detecting pheromones, they provide early warnings during scheduled visits, helping prevent full-scale outbreaks.

For their safety, they cannot enter rooms treated with insecticides for six weeks, as this can harm their scent receptors.
