Nurture Pest Control’s Training Academy is an approved training centre for RSPH (Royal Society of Public Health) courses in Pest Management, and offers Field Biologist, and other specialist food industry and pest control training.
In addition to training our own staff we also provide the opportunity for other pest controllers to join us and achieve their qualifications at a discounted rate. We are a national pest control provider, with decades of pest control experience in the food industry and other sectors.
The course content has been designed by highly respected trainer and NPTA Director Grahame Turner and presented by Grahame himself and / or Technical Trainer Adam Finch.
Training Courses for Food Industry
Grahame is Training Academy Manager for Nurture Pest Control, and a Director of the National Pest Technicians Association.
Previously Grahame has held a wide variety of pest control roles, including pest technician, field biologist, entomology research, pest control product development, pest control consultant to the food industry, technical manager for a pest product manufacturer and distributor, technical manager for a national pest control company, and technical manager for the National Pest Technicians Association.
Grahame has written and edited pest control sections in several publications, including Richard Sprenger’s ‘Hygiene for Management’, Highfield’s ‘Supervising Food Safety’ and the British Pest Management Manual. He has delivered pest control training in the UK and across Europe, Australia, South America and Asia.
Prior to working in pest control, Grahame was a Production Manager in the food industry and completed a degree in pest control and a masters insect control.
