Tree Felling, Planting & Replacement

Our team of experienced tree surgeons are able to carry out complex tree removal when required, in a safe and cost-effective manner

Tree Felling, Planting & Replacement

We always carry out a site visit so we can check the location of the tree and any possible obstacles like overhead cables or neighbouring sites.  We also always check if a tree we have been asked to work on is within a conservation area or covered by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO).

Felling trees can be potentially dangerous so we adhere to strict health and safety regulations to ensure our customers and employees are safe. Our arborists are all NPTC qualified to carry out a range of arboricultural operations and are all emergency first aid certified.

Straight felling

Straight felling is when a tree is removed as a single part.  This tends to be the cheapest and fasted system of removal, however there needs to be sufficient space around the tree to ensure the falling tree will not cause damage to property.

Section dismantling

If the tree to be taken down has obstruction nearby, or the logistics of the site mean that straight felling is impossible we are able to remove the tree in sections.

The arborists will climb the tree and use rigging gear to lower out sections of the tree in a controlled manor, carefully avoiding obstructions such as buildings, green houses, utility lines and fences.

Where the tree is considered too dangerous to climb, perhaps due to decay or dysfunction, we are able to use a mobile elevated platform to access the tree and carry out the removal from this.
