Nurture Group celebrates triple success at Pro Landscaper Business Awards 2025

The Nurture Group has clinched a hat-trick of awards at the prestigious Pro Landscaper Business Awards 2025, held on Friday 25 April at Old Billingsgate, London. Nurture was shortlisted for an impressive four awards and took home three major wins, underlining its continued leadership, innovation, and excellence across the grounds maintenance, landscaping and arboriculture sectors.
Recognising Nurture Group’s commitment to its people
The Nurture Group was also announced as the Employer of the Year, a category that celebrates organisations with slick and professional recruitment processes, positive staff experiences, and exceptional training and development opportunities. Particular focus was given to the employment and retention of apprentices, an area where Nurture continues to invest and excel.
The judges noted:
"Recognised for their investment in people and the technology needed to support their people, such as Nurtureville and the Nurture Academy, which enhances communication and engagement; keeping all employees informed and actively involved in company goals."

Gristwood & Toms leading the way in arboriculture
Gristwood & Toms, Nurture’s specialist arboriculture brand, was crowned winner of the Arboriculture Company category. This award recognises the leading arboriculture companies or specialist divisions that demonstrate outstanding commitment to the industry, staff retention and morale, and consistently good business practices.
The judges praised Gristwood & Toms, commenting:
"The company’s dedication to the industry, its staff, and the environment sets a high standard for excellence, innovation and sustainability. The name Gristwood & Toms is synonymous with tree care and the submission reflects their status in the industry."
Nurture Group’s landmark acquisition recognised
Completing a fantastic hat-trick of awards, the Nurture Group also won Investment/Acquisition of the Year for its acquisition of the Tivoli Group in November 2024. In this category, the judges were looking for strategic investments or acquisitions from the past two years that have delivered value and maximised business potential. Not only was the acquisition of Tivoli a success, but the seamless integration into the Nurture Group structure has strengthened the Group’s nationwide client service offering and operational capacity.
The judges commented:
"Very well-crafted industry deal with numerous benefits to the company and its shareholders as well as offering further client surety to the brand."

Further shortlist success for the Nurture Group
In addition to these three major wins, Nurture Landscapes was also proud to be shortlisted in the Grounds Maintenance Company category, having previously won this award in 2024. This category shines a spotlight on the unsung heroes of the industry who deliver essential everyday maintenance tasks with exceptional skill, professionalism, and pride. Judges considered excellence in staff training and development, investment in apprentices, and commitment to corporate social responsibility.
