Health and Safety
Health & Safety is of paramount importance to us as a business, keeping our teams, our clients and their vistors safe at all times.
We have our own in house Health & Safety Team who drive focus in Health and Safety across our business.
We have a three phase approach:
- Site Specific Risk Assessment. This will highlight specific slopes and what machinery should be used, and will summarise the potential risks specific to the various sites.
- Task Specific Risk Assessments (with safe systems of work). This includes written assessment of machinery operation competency.
- Company Specific Induction. This highlights the roles and responsibilities for all employees and the processes they should follow.
During our site visits we undertake a preliminary risk assessment. We recognise the risks associated with working on slopes, near highways and in close proximity to members of the public.
Our Managers are certificated in IOSH Managing Safely, which provides a foundation understanding of risk assessment, and all of our operatives have undertaken BALI ROLO to give them a base knowledge of risk.
