Nurture Landscapes Group continues raising the standard of maintaining parks and open spaces by retaining coveted industry award

The Group won a total of 11 Green Flag Awards this year at client sites that it maintains, including one for the seventh consecutive year.

National grounds maintenance specialist The Nurture Landscapes Group has kept up its exemplary record of managing parks and outdoor spaces with several projects retaining Green Flag Award status.

The Green Flag Award is an internationally-recognised mark of quality and sets the benchmark standard for the management of recreational spaces around the UK, with recipients holding the accreditation for one year before being reviewed again.

The criteria examine areas including biodiversity, horticultural management, management of flora and fauna, and the management of environmental impacts. In addition, the Awards factor in a park’s accessibility to the local community and whether it has sufficient educational information available.

Chiswick Park 2015.jpgThe majority of the sites retained their accreditation for a second year running, with the Liverpool One Shopping Centre, located close to the iconic Liverpool waterfront, retaining its Green Flag status for the seventh consecutive year. Chineham Business Park and Chiswick House & Gardens were awarded Green Flag status for the first time.

Managing Director Peter Fane said: “Winning and retaining these awards is testament to the consistent hard work our local teams put into each project and shows the unique collaboration we have with our clients - it is fantastic to have these sites recognised with Green Flag status. An extra special well done to our Liverpool One team; being accredited for the seventh year in a row is a truly brilliant achievement for all involved.”
